Arredondo \ Arozarena is proud to present “Rumorosa: Sinuosidad visual y auditiva en el paisaje (Rumorosa: audiovisual sinuosities in landscape)”, a video based exhibition curated by Israel Martínez for which a selection of artists show works related to the exploration of landscape. Some of them are antagonistic: the contemplation of the natural environment and it’s physical intervention, the creation and destruction of atmospheres, the body and the panorama as a political essay, the game, the voice and the poetry.

Through this selection which includes artists from different generations and residing in different parts of Mexico, Martínez offers a wide spectrum of the use of image and sound with the support of contemporary video. Linked to his interests as an artist and teacher, he proposes the route emphasizing the sound, searching the possibilities of audiovision and constructing compositions in constant synchrony and displacement of the image, the sound and our path.
